Château Haut-Corbin, Grand Cru Classé, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2008 ***
Light and supple. A little fluid. Lacks the ripeness of modern Saint-Emilion.
Early drinking. Drink 21-012-2018 (14,5 points).

Hubert de Boüard of Angélus now consults here and there's clearly more depth and precision than in the past. Lots of Cabernet (35%). Drink 2015 - 2024 (15 points)

Tast pro Avril 2009
Haut Corbin 2009 - 87 - 88
This soft, fruity, round, charming 2009 is hedonistic, but not terribly complex. It is ideal for drinking over the next 7-8 years. (Tested two times).
Wine Advocate - Avril 2010
2009 Chateau Haut-Corbin 88-89
The Haut-Corbin has a plush, sweet, oaky bouquet with glossy black cherries, cassis and blueberries cloaked in warm alcohol. The palate is full-bodied with a plush texture, rounded and full in the mouth, layers of blackberries and briary towards the grippy finish that is just a little too dry than I would like on the finish - Neal Martin -
